KINCAID | Mendes Vianna Advogados Brazil
At KINCAID Mendes Vianna Advogados, we believe that ELSA's STEP can be such a rich experience, not only for the trainee who stays with us during the programme but for the entire law firm, that can learn from a new culture.
We are one of the most traditional and longstanding law firms in Brazil, with 87 years in the market. With a range of international clients, we are experts in civil, commercial, corporate and tax law and, notoriously, in maritime law, insurance, and reinsurance and international law, with an emphasis on litigation and arbitration.
Our core values are based on integrity, transparency, ethics, respect and diversity. The programme only reinforces our efforts to guarantee diversity. No matter the nationality, we are always happy to welcome students and share our knowledge with them.
We highly recommend young lawyers to participate in STEP. We look forward to being part of the programme again in 2020!

Holubová Advokáti the Czech Republic
"ELSA's STEP programme is a chance not only for students to get legal experience and find a future career path, but it is also a fruitful experiment of cultural adaptation for lawyers and a way of widening our professional networks.
We at Holubová Advokáti really appreciate diversity. Among our STEP Trainees were both EU law students (inter alia Finnish, German, Austrian, British, and Polish) and non-EU students (inter alia Ukrainian, and Swiss).
Our law firm sees STEP as an opportunity for young lawyers to challenge their legal skills, ability to work in an international environment and capacity to rapidly learn in order to deliver legal advice. These kind of programmes are useful and provide both parties with mutual “consideration” as the STEP Trainees gain highly valuable work experience, and law firms as STEP Traineeship Providers will have at their disposal young minds full of energy and creative potential which definitely enriches the corporate environment!
We highly recommend young lawyers to participate in STEP and we encourage more law firms to get on board as STEP Traineeships Providers. All in all, it is great fun!"
