Conduct legal and regulatory research; prepare concise research memos with citations, draft and edit documents (e.g., NDAs, engagement letters, board minutes, simple contracts), perform comparative law research relevant to cross-border matters, meet deadlines, follow instructions, and proactively flag risks or delays, proofread and format documents to ensure consistency with the firm’s internal drafting standards, provide context on local legal practices and administrative procedures from the trainee’s home jurisdiction, demonstrate professionalism, responsibility, and respect for diverse cultural backgrounds.
