The Centre of International and European Economic Law (CIEEL) is a research institute dealing with EU law, human rights and international economic and business law. It operates in Thessaloniki, Greece since 1978 as a public legal entity of private law, under the supervision of the Hellenic Ministry of Economy and Development. It specialises in public procurement and state aids via two units that provide legal expertise and consultative support to Greek public authorities.
