The Norwegian Helsinki Committee is a non-governmental organisation working to ensure that human rights are respected in practice, with a particular focus on the countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. We do this through monitoring, reporting, awareness raising and democracy support. To counter impunity and ensure accountability for human rights violations and war crimes we store and analyse documentation in our Idoc database, and assist in making the necessary material available for accountability processes such as sanction cases or universal jurisdiction.
Non-governmental organisation (NGO)
Work closely with the staff of the Documentation and Accountability Hub in particular with elements of database analysis, international law, universal jurisdiction, sanction law and international humanitarian law.
