TRAINEESHIP TASKS

The trainee will have the following tasks and responsibilities:
Researching legal content of different types, including EU directives and regulations, national laws and regulations, guidelines, legal commentaries, newsletters or local counsel advice;
Researching investment funds law and market practice in European and non-European jurisdictions;
Drafting of legal documents;
Assisting lawyers with publications, presentations and drafting documents;
File creation and archiving;
Assisting in the preparation of legal and technical solutions.

Required skills:
Enrolled as student with a university;
A strong legal background in EU law and an interest in capital markets, finance or investment funds;
Strong research and writing skills;
Curiosity for and a strong interest in global financial services and investment funds law;
Very confident in the MS Office suite;
Fluent in English.

Additional European language skills are appreciated;
Conscientious and meticulous;
Excellent communication skills and can work well with others;
Attention to detail.
