Law firm
The Trainee will be fully integrated into our firm's dynamic workflow, gaining practical, hands-on experience in high-stakes areas of Turkish Corporate and Commercial Law. This is not a "back-office" role; you will be an active participant in our legal team.
Core responsibilities will include:
Drafting & Revising Complex Agreements: The trainee will move beyond basic templates to assist in drafting, reviewing, and revising sophisticated legal instruments. This includes Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs) for M&A transactions, complex shareholder agreements, and strategic partnership contracts.
Active Case & Client Involvement: The trainee will shadow senior lawyers in negotiations, client meetings, and strategic planning sessions. You will be expected to actively participate in internal meetings, contributing to case strategy discussions related to our core practice areas.
In-Depth Legal Analysis: Conducting targeted legal research on complex corporate governance issues, shareholder disputes, and the specific legal challenges of bankruptcy (konkordato) proceedings. The trainee will assist in preparing legal memorandums and due diligence reports that directly inform client strategy.
Corporate Lifecycle Management: Assisting the team with critical corporate procedures, including drafting board resolutions for capital increases, managing share transfer processes, and preparing documentation for general assembly meetings.
This role is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of how legal theory is applied to solve complex business challenges for innovative clients.
