Volyn National University named after Lesya Ukrainka is a state higher educational institution of the IV accreditation level in the city of Lutsk, Ukraine. Founded in 1940. Since 2020, it has returned its name to Volyn National University. The Volyn National University has 14 faculties. There are more than 770 full-time employees, more than 9 thousand students, and trainees study. The university has 9 educational buildings, 5 dormitories, a library (funds of over 400,000 publications), 5 museums (Museum of Lesia Ukrainka, Museum of University History, Museum of Archeology, Geological Museum, Museum of Ethnography), sanatorium-prophylaxis and student polyclinic, sports complex and stadium, practice base and camp "Hart" (located near Lake Svityaz). The Lutsk Botanical Garden is owned by the university.
