DESCRIPTION OF THE STEP TRAINEESHIP PROVIDER

Legal-Monitr.com is a LegalTech start-up that developed an application that allows legal professionals to follow up on new laws, regulations and other important publications. Through the website, users can select sources (e.g. national gazettes, regulators, etc.) they want to follow. New publications on those websites will then be added to their newsfeed and sent via email.

Founded in 2022, we are currently an organisation of two people (based in Belgium and Ireland) and active in Belgium, Luxembourg and the EU as a whole. We have collaborations set up with major legal publishers active in those countries.

Through the ELSA Traineeships programme, we are looking for help in growing the solution in other jurisdictions.

TRAINEESHIP TASKS

The trainee's job will be to introduce the solution in their local market. Therefore, the language requirements set out above are just an indication. We are interested in all major European markets.

Introducing the solution in the local market will require:
- identifying the important sources for local legal professionals (state gazettes, parliaments, regulators, etc.)
- reaching out to potential clients/users
- setting up partnerships with legal publishers or universities (optional)
- general promotion of the solution through social media or other channels (optional)

In general, we are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset
with a keen interest in LegalTech and a generalist legal approach.

The role is fully remote and the time to be spent on the traineeship is flexible.

Hence, the mentioned salary is also just an indication and will have a variable element based on the commercial success obtained by the trainee.
