Department of Analytics and Comparative Law of the Supreme Court was established in 2005. Its focus is primarily on analytical and research activities in the field of European and comparative law, for both the Supreme Court‘s decision-making and lower-level courts. These activities include, in particular, preparation of analyses from the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union, the European Court of Human Rights, as well as a comparison of case law and legislative activities in other EU Member States.
Public institution
The trainee may carry out basic research on the case law of the European Courts, in particular on the case law of the CJEU and the ECtHR. In addition, the intern may be expected to carry out research on the legal regulation of a particular legal issue in the trainee's country of origin, or in a country the language of which he/she is proficient.
