The main task of the trainee is supporting research projects in the sub-divisions of the institute. Depending on the academic background and level of qualification, sub-modules are worked on independently and under supervision. This systematically introduces trainees to later research tasks. The field of activity also includes the preparation of project proposals, scientific conferences, as well as organisational tasks for project- and scientific management.
