Immigration Consultant – London
Job Description
This is a fast-paced, client-facing role that requires strong communication skills and an entrepreneurial spirit. Knowledge of country-specific immigration processes is not mandatory as training will be provided but you must be a quick learner, team player and willing to be thrown into the deep end early on.
This is a great opportunity to work within one of the most diverse teams within Fragomen and gain exposure to several fast-growing jurisdictions across Europe, CIS, and more. Immigration Consultants are responsible for providing immigration services to a range of clients across primarily, but not exclusively, European jurisdictions.
Day-to-day coaching and weekly reviews will be provided by Senior Consultants with managers and senior managers overseeing long-term performance and training.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Under supervision, the consultant’s main responsibility is to manage cases in assigned countries for a specific portfolio of clients.
- Liaise with third-party vendors (TPV) and clients to ensure cases are on track.
- Draft emails to clients/stakeholders, with correspondence reviewed by a Senior Consultant.
- Update stakeholders on milestones.
- Coordinate under supervision additional services with other internal teams (consular, documents etc) where applicable.
- Exercise judgment in identifying and escalating matters to line managers attention. Senior consultants will be the first port of call for minor escalations with more complex/critical escalations being handled by managers and senior managers.
- Document review.
- General administrative support as required including:
- Billing responsibilities.
- Case record updates.
- Document review and tracking.
- Monitoring/confirming upcoming expiries.
- Ad hoc admin tasks.

The Immigration Coordinator helps to provide exceptional levels of business support to a wide range of clients by supporting Fragomen’s UK Inbound Associate’s and Paralegal’s in an administrative capacity.

The Senior Immigration Consultant will be responsible for assisting the manager with the successful delivery of high quality legal advice.
